What is your process or approach on the wedding day?

We have a very candid approach. We love capturing natural interactions and emotions, however we can also provide lots of direction throughout the entire process to help you feel connected and comfortable. We discuss all of your goals for the photography ahead of time so that you don’t have to worry about an important detail being missed. We (Glenn and April) work as team to capture moments from different angles throughout the day. The team approach is also super helpful when forming the groups for posed photos of the wedding party and family.

Do you have a wedding shot checklist so that I can give you all of the family and wedding party photos ahead of time?

Yes and it’s super detailed. You can add anything you want and we are also happy to look at your Pinterest ideas.

Is there a contract?

Yes, we send you a simple yet formal contract to protect you and define all of the deliverables. One of the key things about us is our flexibility with the contract. You can do a pay plan if that’s helpful. You don’t pay your final balance (25%) until your photos are online - within 3 weeks of the wedding. AND if you need to reschedule your wedding for any reason, we will move your pre-payments to the new date as long as you pick a date that we are available with NO change fee.

What forms of payment do you take?

Checks, credit cards, Paypal, Venmo and cash.

How long will it take to get my photos?

1-3 weeks from the wedding :) !

Do I get the usage and printing rights to my photos?

Yes, you own the usage and printing rights.

Can my gallery be password protected?

Yes, your privacy is very important to us. We can skip the online gallery if you are super private and just give you a thumb drive. We also don’t post on social media without your permission.

What if I need to reschedule?

It’s been a crazy time for all of us. If you need to reschedule your wedding for any reason, we will move your pre-payments to the new date as long as you pick a date that we are available with NO change fee.

How many photos will I get?

We give you an unlimited number of photos. Most couples receive 1,200 - 3,000 images from a 6 hour wedding. We can share some complete weddings with you so that you can see the depth of what we capture for our clients.

How long will my wedding link stay up?

Years- no pressure to buy or order images. I love when I see our clients log in on their anniversary to look at their photos again.

Do you do wedding albums?

Yes! We do all of the design in house so that you can work with us to customize each page. Our album company is GraphiStudio. The albums are gorgeous. I create an album suggestions or highlights folder of your wedding images to get you started and use only the images you want in your album. It’s one of my favorite parts of the process.

What is your starting package? How much does wedding photography cost?

We have tried very hard to have the most fairly priced package on the market. Pricing for a full wedding starts at $3,900 and includes and engagement session and an album. Pricing for a local micro wedding starts at $650.

What’s included?

Your custom package will include the 2 of us as your photographers, an engagement session, a private online gallery to view/share photos, and a digital download with all your wedding photos. From there we will work with you to cater to your needs and desires for showing off your wedding photos. We advocate for getting your most cherished images in print and give you the usage and printing rights and even direct you to our lab if you want to save money. Or we do custom printing for you. For our micro weddings and elopements we do the same level of service for you - you just need to purchase the album a la carte.

Do you travel?

Yes!

Are you insured?

Yes! We have full general liability and property policies as well as accidental equipment coverage. We are happy to provide certificates of insurance to our clients and their venues/vendors upon request.

How do you describe your style?

Do you do videography?

No, we don’t offer videography services, but we’re more than happy to connect you with our favorite filmmakers!

What if we don’t need an engagement session?

Engagement sessions are a service we provide complimentary to our wedding clients who book a custom wedding package. They give us an opportunity to spend time with you, to get to know each other, and work together. It’s not something that we offer discount or credit for, if you elect to not take advantage of the session, we will work toward finding additional opportunities to spend time with you and chatting about your wedding.

Do you have backup equipment?

Absolutely! We have multiple backups for our equipment, and our processes. And your wedding photos are double backed up locally, and triple backed up online! There is no excuse to not be careful with something so important.

What if something happens to one of you and you can’t photograph our wedding?

Yes, variations of this are asked a lot! Well, that would suck. But in terms of your photo coverage, no need to worry. We work with an incredible network of photographers and should one of us be unable to be there, we’ll have a qualified professional photographer at your wedding. That said we have shot over 1,000 weddings and never missed one. Everything we do is geared towards being able to be at the top of our game for each wedding that we do.

Why have 2 photographers?

Imagine having your last moments with your dad before he walks down the aisle captured at the same time that your groom is being captured waiting for you at the top of the aisle. There are so many key moments during the day that benefit from a second perspective and sometimes a second set of hands to help. Even for a micro wedding or elopement - two photographer is always better than one.

I am here for referrals to any vendor and to walk you through the day to help you visualize how it will go and hopefully reduce any anxiety you might have. As often as you need :)

Can we view a complete wedding at our venue?

For sure! As long as I have permission from our couple. We love to show our potential clients our work.

What if I need to reschedule?

We require a non-refundable deposit to book your shoot. But,if you need to reschedule your shoot for any reason we will move your pre-payments to the new date as long as you pick a date that we are available with NO change fee. We typically book a date and rain date for each outdoor shoot just so you will be sure to not have to worry.

How many photos will I get?

We give you an unlimited number of photos. Most 50 minute sessions get at least 40 amazing images.

How long will my link stay up?

Indefinitely - no pressure to buy or order images. I love when I see our clients log in to look at their photos again. After 18 months the link will be archived, but still retrievable through your link. It's a good idea to download all of your photos when you receive the link and put them on a thumb drive for safe keeping. We can provide a thumb drive for an additional fee.

Do you do portrait albums?

Yes! We do all of the design in house so that you can work with us to customize each page. Our album company is GraphiStudio. The albums are gorgeous.

What is your starting package?

For a family we suggest a 30 minute or 50 minute package. We also offer a 15 minute mini session. Weekdays (Monday - Thursday) pricing is as follows: 50 minutes is $300, 30 minutes is $240, 15 minutes is $160. Weekends (Friday - Sunday and holidays) 50 minutes is $400, 30 minutes is $300, 15 minutes is $190. This pricing is for an individual family or person. Extended family sessions are quoted based on size.

What’s included?

Your get all of your files hand edited, hi rez and lightly retouched in color and bw in a downloadable gallery that can be password protected. You own the usage and printing rights. A thumb drive is available for an additional fee and extra retouching is available for an extra fee.

Do you travel?

For shoots over 10 miles from the Newburyport area there is an additional fee. Let’s discuss.

How do you describe your style?

We shoot with a candid, natural style, capturing moments as they happen rather than curating situations. Our editing style is classic, with preference to natural light. We also take the time to eliminate any blemishes or distracting elements in each photo. When working with families and small children we try to let them be as free as possible, while also wrangling them into the photo.
